I caused a furor when I worked at ACC by asking
why Chaplain V----, a white chaplain of South African descent, had not
been invited to the African-American Chaplains' Conference?

Boy, was everyone pissed at me...  Especially when I insisted he was
probably more "African-American" than any of the blacks who were attending.
